Full Body Aesthetics is built around full-body work and a look that is strong and lean — shoulders, back, legs, not just a pumped chest. Protein supports that. It does not create it. This is not medical advice.

Who this is for / who should skip it

For you if you train most weeks and want a simple whey that fills gaps in food. Skip it if you already hit your protein from meals, or if you have been told by a clinician to limit dairy or protein powders. A website cannot sort that for you.

How much protein, without a cult

For someone lifting and aiming to stay relatively lean, a working range is roughly 1.6–2.2g of protein per kilogram of bodyweight per day. That is a range, not a commandment. A 80kg lifter is looking at about 130–175g. Spread it across meals. You do not need 50g in a single shake.

If you are smaller, eat less; if you are heavier, eat more. If you are cutting hard, keep protein toward the top of the range so you hold onto muscle while the scale moves. Food first: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, yoghurt, beans. Powder covers the hours you cannot cook.

Bodyweight~1.6g/kg~2.2g/kg
70kg~110g~155g
80kg~130g~175g
90kg~145g~200g

Whey vs isolate

Whey concentrate is the everyday option. Isolate is more filtered: a bit more protein by weight, usually less lactose and fat. If concentrate sits well, stay there. If it bloats you, try isolate. Hydrolysate is faster and more expensive; most people training for an aesthetic look do not need it.

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is an isolate-led blend — isolate first, then concentrate. That is why we treat it as the default trust pick: you are not buying a mystery bag, and it mixes in a cheap shaker. MyProtein Impact Whey is concentrate, often cheaper on sale. Both can get you to the same daily total. See the full comparison.

Why a boring whey beats a hype tub

The tub you finish beats the limited-edition flavour you sip twice. Aesthetic training is weeks of the same work: full-body, push/pull/legs, upper/lower. Your protein source should be equally dull. If a brand needs a cartoon mascot, it is usually selling the lid.

Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate or Vanilla Ice Cream is enough choice. If you want more flavours and you shop offers, Impact Whey is the everyday bag. Creatine is the other powder that has evidence behind it — that is a separate, smaller decision, covered in the stack guide.

How it fits a full-body week

Beginner full-body in the app is three sessions with a rest day between. Advanced is four. You are hitting the same muscle groups often, so recovery food matters. A shake after training is convenient. It is not magic timing. Total protein in the day does more than the 20-minute window after the last set.

Use the app’s nutrition log if you like seeing the number. Do not let the log become the workout.

What we recommend

Default: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard, one flavour, water, one scoop when food is awkward. Value: MyProtein Impact Whey when it is on offer. Neither replaces chicken, Greek yoghurt, or sleep.
